The project accompanied the ISPA in its reorganization and new mission definition as well, in the framework of the country democratic transition.

Professional educational system modernization and strengthening were intended to contribute to the rule of law consolidation and the justice sector reform.

The overall objective of the project was to enhance the institutional capacity of the Jordan Ministry of Industry and Trade in dealing with trade and industry development in light of the revised EU-Jordan Action Plan and in order to increase growth and job creation. The MIT directorates involved and whose needs were mainly attended were the Industrial Property Protection, Foreign Trade Policy & Relations, National Production Protection, Commercial Registry, Competition, Industrial Development, Economic Policies, and soon-to-be established Consumer Protection.

Financed by the EU in the framework of the Technical Barriers to Trade (TBT) Programme in favour of ACP countries, the project contributed to improve  capacities of selected regional agribusiness.

Financed by the EU in the framework of the TBT Programme (Technical Barriers to Trade) in favour of ACP countries, the project contributed to enhance ACP countries knowledge on metrology as an essential element of Quality Infrastructure in order to facilitate trade, protect consumers and promote fair competition for transformative growth an important driver for the economic development, industrialization and poverty reduction.

The overall objective of the project was to help reducing conflicts and insecurity in Central Africa.

To reach this objective, increasing capacities and the level of the Economic Community of Central African States – ECCAS’ involvement in the peace and security strengthening in Central Africa was need; the TA team thus supported the development of ECCAS capacities in accordance with its peace and security agenda and the African Union programs at the continental level, within the AAPS framework.

The project strengthened the capacity of public institutions, specifically the Ministry of Planning and Economic Affairs, to effectively formulate, implement and monitor sound and sustainable economic governance that is both pro-growth and developmental in its focus and application.
